Rosette Merit Awards

Rosette awarding is one way of encouraging, motivating and appreciating the efforts made by children in their day to day activities. This is in line with the Setswana proverb which says" Morogo wa ngwana ga o tlhotswe ditlhokwa" This implies that all the efforts made by children should be appreciated as a way of encouraging them to aim higher.

Every week one student from every class is awarded a Rosette and they wear it proudly during that week. This system of motivation has been in place at Baobab, since 1991 when the school first opened its doors to learners.

At Baobab school we encourage good behavior in the classrooms, in the playgrounds and at all school events. We applaud good etiquette and encourage our students to be exemplary in all that they do.
